We use Zeffy and Stripe to process our online donations. Stripe is PCI Service Provider Level 1 certified which is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. This ensures that all transactions are securely processed.

Help us raise awareness — and inspire others to give — by sharing your support with friends and family.

Here’s how you can help:

1️⃣ You can share our Giving Tuesday posts on social media or create your own customized graphic by downloading our Giving Tuesday profile photo template and adding your picture using the free Canva app.
2️⃣ Upload your graphic to Facebook or Instagram to show your support for the SCID community.
3️⃣ Share your story or why you gave, and tag the SCID Foundation to encourage others to join you.

Every post helps more people learn about SCID, and every new donor helps a family feel less alone.

Click on the download link below to get your free PNG template file. If you’re not sure how to use the file, you can watch this quick video on how to use the template in the free version of the Canva app. If you’re not experienced with using Canva on your phone, I recommend the browser version on a desktop or laptop computer. (no download required) The browser version on a desktop or laptop is easier for a beginner. 

Use your computer: To download the template to a computer, click the download button. The image may open in a new tab. Right-click the image and choose “save image as”. Look to be sure that the file type you’re saving is a PNG. 

Use your phone: If using a phone, click the download button. The image should show up on your screen.

Android: Press your finger on the image, and a pop-up box will open. Select “download image.” The file type will be a PNG file. (A screenshot of the image will not work as a template.)
iPhone: Select download, Save, and open in “Save To Files”. (A screenshot of the image will not work as a template.)

Customize the template with your own picture

Watch this video if you need help customizing the template. 

• Open the Canva App either on your desktop/laptop or phone, available in your browser or in the App Store or Google Play Store.
• In this video, I’m using the free Windows version of Canva.
• Start with a square post, Instagram Square 1080X1080 works, or choose a custom size and input 1080 X 1080
• Upload the template and your photo
• Drag the template to the workspace and fill the whole space. It should “float” over the plain background.
• Click or drag your picture to place it on top of the template
• Adjust picture size and position your picture to be above the blank area of the template
• Select Position and send the picture backwards
• Readjust photo placement if necessary
• (Optional) Add your text, set font and font size
• Choose Effects to add a background to the text
• Make the background a bright color and use the slider to create square edges
• Place the text
• Save your work
• Use your new Giving Tuesday photo on Social Media
